Yes it makes me smile when I read a lovely review because when you work for yourself especially as a therapist it's rare to get feedback from the client's parent. I can see how my client, the child or teen, has evolved from victim state to empowered, confident, happy young person but to get that validation from the parent is a rare cherished thing.
Being a therapist means you cannot share anything about your work with family or friends such that they might comment "well done" if you'd cooked them a nice meal for example. I might feel that a particular choice of activity or exercise was inspired! But only I would know that it was intuitive rather than planned.
Perhaps I'd had some insight I'd shared with the client about some expressive art they'd made, or a LEGO model of trust or happiness, their block to happiness maybe, but again this would not necessarily be shared with their parent.
So here I'd like to share a couple of reviews that came in today.
"We are so grateful for Judy’s support during a very difficult time. When our teenage daughter was going through a mental health crisis, Judy not only showed great understanding and care for her, but also acknowledged how we, as parents, were feeling. She responded quickly when we reached out for urgent help, and her holistic approach has made a real difference. Our daughter has responded so positively to Judy’s guidance, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly."
"I first came to Judy as a worried mother seeking help for my son. What I found was not only a deeply knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner but also a true expert in child emotional health. Her play-based NLP and EFT techniques put my son at ease , and I saw noticeable changes in his confidence and emotional expression.
Impressed by her gentle yet powerful approach, I decided to train under Judy myself. As a mentor, she is patient, insightful, and incredibly supportive . She ensures you truly understand the tools and techniques and empowers you to use them confidently with families. Judy doesn’t just teach; she inspires, guides, and lifts you up.
Whether you’re a parent looking for support for your child or a professional seeking meaningful training, I cannot recommend Judy enough. She is a rare combination of warmth, wisdom, and sheer skill. Thank you, Judy, for everything you do!"
If you would like to leave me a review, here's the QR code. Obviously it can be completely anonymous by using initials if you prefer.

Every child, teen, parent I see is very special. You matter, your child matters and I am constantly thinking about what I can do to help them. I might listen to a podcast, watch a video, read a book, and all the time I'm wondering if this or that would help. With clients aged 16+ys I have permission to message them direct and many's the time I've sent them something I think they'll find helpful. So thank you if you have already sent me a review for my Google Business account, they mean the world to me.
