About the event
As loving parents we can't bear to see our children suffer, we don't like to see them hurt, upset, struggling, anxious or in trouble when we could do something to help them. This might mean, helping them with their homework, running them to school because they've missed the bus, taking their forgotten packed lunch PE kit, homework etc in to school for them.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they really appreciate it and you feel loved and needed. What would they do without you, you say, smiling.
However, as they get older it is important that they feel strong, resilient, independent and capable of managing their own life. This may mean that they make mistakes, but the chances are that they will learn more from these than simply you doing things for them.
The Drama Triangle yields the secrets of how to move from fixing to empowering, so you can be confident that they can make decisions for themselves and importantly, take responsibility.
